About this item
- Two Essential Pottery Tools in One – MudShark combines the two tools most commonly used when throwing pots: a needle tool to trim the rim at the top and a fettling knife to cut away waste at the base. It streamlines your workflow by putting both functions in one compact tool.
- Designed for Wheel Throwing Efficiency – Built specifically around common wheel-throwing tasks, MudShark helps potters move quickly from rim trimming to base cleanup without switching tools. It’s a practical, time-saving addition to any throwing setup.
- Folding Needle for Safer Handling – The needle is sharp and designed to “bite,” so Mudtools made it fold away when not in use. That added safety feature protects your hands and makes the tool easier to store between uses.
- Bright Color Options, Same Core Function – Available in Dark Blue, Light Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red. Choose the color you prefer while keeping the same MudShark tool design and core function.
- Compact Studio Essential Made in the USA by Mudtools – MudShark is built for potters who want a clever, efficient trimming tool that handles two of the most common throwing tasks in one. It’s functional, distinctive, and designed with everyday studio use in mind.
