About this item
- PRECISE EDGE ROUNDING AND BURNISHING — EDGY is the newest polymer rib from Mudtools, inspired by Jeff from GR Pottery and built for the finishing pass: rounding an edge, refining a rim and burnishing the surface of thrown or hand-built ceramics.
- MEDIUM GREEN POLYMER — Green sits in the middle of the EDGY range, firm enough to shape an edge and soft enough to follow a curve, which makes it the everyday choice for most clay bodies.
- BURR-FREE POLYMER EDGE — Mudtools polymer resists wear and the formation of burrs that a cut plastic rib develops. With regular use the working edge becomes burnished rather than rough, so it stays kind to soft clay.
- FIVE FLEX GRADES, ONE SHAPE — Pink is Ultra Soft, Red Very Soft, Yellow Soft, Green Medium and Blue Firm. Match the flex to your clay body and to the stage of the pot, or keep more than one grade within reach.
- MADE IN THE USA BY MUDTOOLS — Founded by potter Michael Sherrill. EDGY works wet on the wheel or dry on hand-built and sculpted forms, and it rinses clean in seconds.
